The story

  1. 01Chapter

    The company

Axova is the product we build at Solvix Labs PLC, the company I co-founded in mid 2024 and serve as CTO. It is a unified commerce platform for Ethiopian merchants.

  2. 02Chapter

    The product

A merchant opens an online store in minutes, sells in person with Axova POS, reaches shoppers on Axova Market, and ships with Axova Go, all from one account.

The stack is TypeScript end to end, and security is built in from the start.

  3. 03Chapter

    The build

As CTO I lead the web app and the platform under it. Most of the services are typed HTTP APIs and background services built with Hono, tRPC, PostgreSQL, and Redis queues.

The platform runs on AWS, provisioned with Terraform and run on Kubernetes with Helm. The mobile apps, including Axova POS, Axova Go, and Axova Marketplace, are built with React Native and Expo.
